Home selling success stories
Shelley Lazzareschi: Shelley recently assisted a new client who was undergoing challenging family circumstances and whose listing had expired with another real estate brokerage. When Shelley toured the property she identified several inexpensive cosmetic improvements that would greatly benefit the sale of the home. Our client had already moved out-of-state, so Shelley secured a reliable and affordable contractor for our client and oversaw the completion of the improvements. Shelley also assisted with the staging efforts and even with doing some spot cleaning of the home. When the projects were completed, Shelley skillfully carried out her marketing plan for the property and had the home sold and closed in less than a month.
Chris Venden: Chris recently listed a home for clients who were in need of extra attention and support. Chris was the perfect person to be serving our clients, as she constantly gave them the guidance and encouragement they needed to make their sale happen. Chris helped our clients find a reliable handyman, painter, and electrician for a few home improvement projects. She scheduled two different photo shoots with a professional photographer in order to capture the highest quality photos for this home. The day prior to closing, Chris hired a cleaner to help our clients tidy up their home when time was tight. Chris even rolled up her sleeves and assisted with the cleaning so that the closing took place on schedule and without a hitch.
Dan Miller: Dan recently listed a duplex for out-of-town clients. The duplex was in need of a new roof, plaster repair, and fresh paint. Dan found reliable contractors to help our client quickly address all of these issues. While these repairs were being made, Dan collected aerial photos and professional photos of this home's special lakeside location. He also worked constructively with the tenants to capture some great interior shots of the property. Dan aggressively marketed this property as a "coming soon" listing as the repairs were being completed on the home. When the repairs were completed, Dan already had many buyers lined up to tour the property. As a result our clients ended up with a great offer, a great price, and a quick closing for their listing.
Maureen Moran: Maureen recently listed a condo for sale next to the Pheasant Branch Conservancy in Middleton. Maureen's creativity and attention to detail really showed in her marketing plan. Maureen's marketing included many special touches, including: multiple photo shoots of this wonderfully updated condo, aerial photos of the surrounding conservancy, and even an article which shared some great information about the conservancy and condo association. Maureen's marketing was a great example of how we very often market a location just as much as we market the property itself. Needless to say our clients were very happy with the price and terms they received with their accepted offer.
Mark Hewitt: Mark recently listed a home for sale for clients with a large family. Our clients were short on time, so Mark did all that he could to support them throughout their home-selling journey. Some of Mark's special touches included working closely with the clients on the staging of their property, helping out with painting projects as part of the home prep process, and sprucing up the yard just prior to the photo shoot. All of this hard work paid off for our clients. This listing received multiple offers and Mark did a great job of negotiating a great offer from a great buyer.
