Are you interviewing real estate agents to sell your home? Our home and condo selling statistics speak for themselves. The statistics below include all Dane County single family home and condo sales under $1M recorded in the South Central Wisconsin MLS database from January 1st through December 31st, 2021. In each case we compare our home-selling statistic against the MLS average for Dane County, Wisconsin.  

On average our listings sell for almost 3% above the original full list price within 11 days of being placed on the market.

If you're in the process of interviewing listing agents, ask each agent how their numbers stack up against the statistics below. Then be sure to ask each agent how many homes they sell each year, too.

On average our properties sell for 2.7% more than the original list price. The average MLS listing sells for 1.2% over the original list. At Mad City Dream Homes, we sell our properties for higher prices because we strategically market our listings in order to attract a high number of competing offers (see below).   

Our sellers net a 1.5% higher sales price compared to the average MLS seller. For the average $400,000 home, we add $6,000 in value to our clients' bottom line.

Our properties sell for higher prices because we design each listing to attract multiple offers. Fifty-nine percent of our listings received multiple offers in 2021, compared to the MLS average of 43%.

The "days on market" is the number of days that pass from the listing date until the accepted offer date. On average our clients receive an accepted offer in just 11 days compared to the MLS average of almost 3 weeks. We save our clients 9 days of marketing time compared to the average MLS listing.
