Always in learning mode

At Mad City Dream Homes, we're always sharing our knowledge and learning from each other. One of the ways we accomplish this is through our weekly meetings where we share our "learning moments" from the week before. Our learning moments offer a way for all of us to share our challenges and successes with each other so we're always enhancing our collective knowledge and furthering our professional development.

Mad City Dream Homes Professional Growth

Each week is full of new learning opportunities

Our team meetings are resulting in some incredibly productive conversations that help all of us better serve our clients. For example, in one recent meeting Shelley Lazzareschi shared how she successfully negotiated a $7,000 credit for her buyer after a last-minute surprise popped up at the final walk-through. In the same meeting, Jake Johnson shared how he helped his buyer get his offer accepted -- even though there was a competing offer submitted for a higher price. Also in the same meeting, Dan Miller shared how he helped his seller navigate a tricky appraisal contingency -- so that the property appraised out at the contract price and proceeded to a successful sale.

Other ways we keep learning and growing

Within our group, we're continually sharing effective contract language, new marketing ideas, and trusted businesses to refer to our clients. In March, our team completed a 9-week course on the fundamentals of real estate. This year we've also launched our "market analysis mastermind sessions" as a way to stay sharp in this year's fluid market. These are just a few of the ways our team is working to improve our effectiveness in 2021, and it all begins by hiring professionals who are dedicated to daily and lifelong learning.
