Lodi offers nine public parks, which include a free swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, an ice skating rink, and a trail open to snowmobiles. Lake Wisconsin provides opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and water sports. Fly fishing can be done in Spring Creek, a class 2 trout stream. The creek flows through the city’s downtown area, which is lined by unique shops, art galleries and restaurants. Downtown is also home to “Susie the Duck,” a mallard duck that made her home there in 1948. The annual Susie the Duck Festival includes a parade, duck drop, and family activities each summer. Other festivals include the Agriculture Fair, bbq contest, and the “Eskimo Open,” a frozen golf course created on Lake Wisconsin each February. A 9-hole golf course is also open to the public.
The Town of Lodi offers a truly diverse selection of real estate. Lakefront homes surround Lake Wisconsin featuring both luxury options and cottages. There are many open lots available for new construction. Condominiums, ranches, farmhouses, and two-story homes are all found in Lodi.
