As a writer and photographer, I enjoy listening to people tell their stories, finding creative ways to share them, and connecting with others in the process.

In 2017, I joined the Mad City Dream Homes team in a part-time marketing and content role, taking photos and blogging about Dane County events, nonprofits, businesses, neighborhoods, and homes. In 2020, I transitioned to a full-time position as a marketing and community outreach specialist, splitting my time evenly between our team’s real estate marketing activities and activities that support nonprofit organizations in the Dane County area -- particularly those focused on promoting social and racial justice, providing affordable housing, and protecting the environment.

Is there a local nonprofit that is doing great things in our community but may need an extra boost to better fulfill its mission? When I’m not working, you can likely find me biking, hiking the Ice Age Trail, birdwatching, taking nature photos, or curled up with my cats reading or writing children's books.
