The oldest homes were built in the mid-1990s, and are set along 1st and 2nd streets. These homes feature two-car garages, attractive layouts, and extra kitchen space. Construction continued, with another section in the mid-2000s. The newer homes are typically larger, and include modern amenities like kitchen islands, three-car garages, and open concept floor plans. The Duane R. Hofstetter Conservation Park is a 26-acre park on the southeastern edge of the neighborhood. This park offers walking trails, wide open prairie space, and wooded areas. Garfield Park sits further north, and offers a playground, soccer field, ice skating rink, and warming house. Grundahl Park is to the west, and includes a lit ball diamond, basketball court, stage for community performances, a playground, and picnic shelters that are perfect for large gatherings.
