Heritage Heights Parks and Conservancy Spaces

Kennedy Park and Heritage Heights Park are two large and very popular parks which feature athletic fields and play areas for the kids. Both of these parks are located near Kennedy Elementary School. Local conservancy space includes both Heritage Sanctuary and Heritage Prairie. The sanctuary includes over 9 acres of protected woodland; the prairie includes over 4 acres of restored grassland. 

Neighborhood Schools

Heritage Heights properties are zoned to Kennedy Elementary School, which is located within the boundaries of the neighborhood at 221 Meadowlark Drive. Families also attend Whitehorse Middle School (located west of the neighborhood) and LaFollette High School (located to the southwest). 

Heritage Heights Neighborhood Association

This is one of many active neighborhood groups on the east side of town. The association organizes a number of community-building events throughout the year, including the neighborhood-wide garage sale, neighborhood picnic, movies in the park, and family game night.
