More about Faircrest Real Estate

The Faircrest neighborhood is bordered by Inner Drive and South Hill Drive to the north, Mineral Point Road to the south, Rosa Road to the east, and Yellowstone Drive to the west. Most Faircrest real estate was constructed in the 1960s and 1970s. In Faircrest you'll find a diverse selection of colonial, contemporary, and ranch style homes situated on a rolling landscape with large lots and mature trees. A large number of Faircrest homes border park and green space. Some of the homes on Inner Drive and South Hill Drive back up to Owen Conservation Park, and other houses on Keelson Drive and Landfall Drive back up to the walking path and greenway that run from the conservation park to Memorial High School.

Faircrest Schools

All of the properties in Faircrest are zoned to Jefferson Middle School and Memorial High School. On the east end of the neighborhood, children attend Stephens Elementary located at 120 S. Rosa Road. Children on the west end of the subdivision attend John Muir Grade School located at 6602 Inner Drive.

Faircrest Parks and Recreation

Faircrest residents enjoy convenient access to two of Madison's iconic parks. Garner Park, home of "Opera in the Park," borders the neighborhood to the east. Owen Conservation Park, popular with hikers and bird-watchers, is located along the north end of the subdivision. The west end of the neighborhood also offers convenient access to the Parkcrest Pool, a resource that brings friends and neighbors together during the months of June, July, and August.
