Are you ready to move into urban living, where your shopping, dining, entertainment and recreational activities are just a short stroll from home? Here are some popular pedestrian-friendly condos for your consideration, both within and around the city of Madison.

Downtown Madison WI

Near east side condos

The near east side of Madison offers over a dozen pedestrian-friendly condo communities, including the Livingston Condos on Williamson Street, and the Park East Condos on Atwood Avenue. Dining, biking, and lake activities abound on this side of town. The East Washington Avenue corridor, with shopping and entertainment options, is just a short stroll from home.

Hilldale Mall condos

On the near west side, Weston Place, Hilldale Row, and the Coventry Condos are all within walking distance of the Hilldale Mall area, which has everything you need for daily living. With the bus line nearby, you can live comfortably on this side of town without owning a car.

Monroe Street condos

Also on the near west side, the Monroe Commons Condos are located above Trader Joe's grocery store on Monroe Street. The nearby bike path, Lake Wingra, and a nice selection of restaurants make this a popular option within walking distance of the UW Campus.

Downtown Madison

The Downtown area offers more than 20 different condo communities centered around the Capitol Square. Dining, biking, festivals, cultural events, and the farmer's market are all apart of the lifestyle in Downtown Madison.

Downtown Middleton

Valencia Lofts in Downtown Middleton is walkable to the Willy Street Co-op, the public library, coffee shops, and a number of excellent restaurants. The bus line is also nearby, which makes for an easy commute to the UW Campus and Downtown Madison.

Middleton Hills/Pheasant Branch

The Middleton Hills neighborhood has its own grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants -- all within a short walk of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy, where miles of walking paths wind through beautiful surroundings. Popular options include the Gardd Parc, Middleton Conservancy, and the Middleton Hills/Prairie Park/Arbor Green condominiums.
