We all know there is a seasonal aspect to the market and the spring months typically are the best months for sellers in the Madison area. However, there are some Dane County properties which are always in high demand and can sell quickly any time of year. Below we share 10 different types of properties in the Madison area that benefit from a perpetually strong market.

1) Condos priced under $250,000

The shortage of affordable housing in Dane County has many buyers standing on the sidelines waiting for the right condo to be listed for sale. A nice condo priced under $250,000 is always a hot commodity in our low inventory market. 

2) Homes priced under $350,000

Single family homes priced under $350,000 are also in short supply - and popular with buyers throughout the year.  

3) Ranch style homes and condos

Ranch style properties are popular with down-sizers seeking a home with all of the living space on one level. Generally speaking there are many more buyers than sellers in this market. 

4) Condos in 55+ communities

Many Baby Boomers are in search of a nice condo in a fifty-five plus community. Fitchburg's Northern Lights Village condo association is one such community which is always in high demand. 

5) Homes in perpetually hot neighborhoods

Some neighborhoods are popular with buyers every month of the year. Neighborhoods like Sunset Village and Westmorland on the near west side, and Schenk-Atwood and Willy Street on the near east side.
