Listing photos we love

I'm Tracy Kapela and I'm the photographer and visual media specialist for the Mad City Dream Homes real estate team. Here are a few of my favorite listing photos that I've taken in 2020 so far.

Kitchens

The kitchen is often thought of as the "heart of the home", so I try to show as much of the space as possible so you can see yourself in there and get a feel for how the flow could work for you.

Living/Family Rooms

The entertaining area is also one of the most important spaces that buyers want to see, so I try to focus on showing windows, fireplaces or any other feature that is unique to each house.

Dining Rooms

Formal dining rooms can have special features like beamed ceilings, built-ins, and stained glass windows, so these spaces can be super fun to photograph!

Bedrooms

Who doesn't love a great view from their bedroom? I generally focus on showing the side of the room with the bed and the view you get when you first walk through the door into the room, and having great scenery outside the window is such a bonus!

Sunrooms

A beautiful sunroom is such a great bonus space to photograph. With all of the natural light pouring in from the windows, I always love to make sure the wood ceiling (if present) gets some love and attention.

Bathrooms

With bathrooms usually being one of the smallest spaces in a house/condo, it requires some craftiness and contortion moves to get into the right spot to get a good angle and avoid my reflection in the mirror.

Other Spaces

Outside and bonus spaces give me another opportunity to highlight what is unique about each property and usually provide those "money" shots that can help a buyer fall in love with the property.

One of the things I really enjoy about our team is our freedom to explore new marketing ideas for our home-selling clients. Another is the sense of collaboration and teamwork we all bring to the table. With this type of work environment, I know we'll always be experimenting with new approaches and improving our marketing.

We're always open to suggestions and ideas from our clients, too. So if you have any ideas of your own to share, I'd love to hear from you. You can check out my profile page for my contact info.

Wishing you a happy and safe summer,
