People choose to refer us when they know us, trust us, and appreciate who we are as human beings. If you're a realtor who's seeking more clients, this is your invitation to get out into the community and engage with people on a personal level.

An easy way to engage more is to do the things you like to do with other people. Show interest in the people you meet. Get to know them. And enjoy your new friendships.

Maybe it's a Saturday morning exercise class, a weekly book club, or a regular volunteer shift with a non-profit. Whatever you choose, you'll naturally find yourself forming friendships with people who share the same interests as you.

It pumps blood to nearlyevery one of the trillions and trillions of cells in your body, delivering enough new blood every single day to fill 50 average-sized rain barrels. Go ahead - take a moment to be in awe of your heart.  While we rush through our days, our heart dependably keeps us going beat by beat. And, indeed, many of us don’t pay much mind to our hearts until an emergency gives us cause to.

One of our brokerage colleagues, Holly Hassenzahl, reminded us of some sobering facts about women’s heart health during a recent meeting. Did you know that one in three women will face a life-threatening cardiac event in their life? And more sobering yet, women are less likely than men to receive CPR from a

We're excited for our clients, Tom and Susan, who just had their offer accepted for a beautiful home in Tumbledown Farm. When they saw the home hit the market, Tom and Susan knew it was the one. They also knew it would be a competitive listing attracting strong interest from other buyers.

Dan showed Tom and Susan the home immediately that morning. At the same time, Shelley worked to answer a few key questions for Tom and Susan as she began preparing their offer. Shelley submitted their offer in the early afternoon, and just like that, their offer was accepted before any other buyers had a chance to write.

The best news of all? With Tom and Susan's move to Dane County, they'll now be living close to loved ones, including grandchildren.

If you've spent any amount of time on our blog, you may have noticed that we track the Dane County home and condo markets separately. Although both markets share some common themes, they do differ in a few key ways:

  • Home prices are typically much higher than condo prices
  • Supply levels (months of inventory) tend to run a little higher in the condo market
  • Each market tends to appeal to a different kind of buyer

Publishing two separate reports requires more effort on our part, but our monthly routine keeps us sharp and always ready to serve you with solid market insight.

If you had a million dollars, how would you invest it?

You might invest it in the stock market. Perhaps in silver or gold. Or maybe even take a flyer on crypto. Or you might consider investing in Dane County real estate instead.

Here's the biggest reason why: Our local population is projected to grow by roughly 300,000 residents in the next 25 years, and all of our new residents will need a place to call home.

You'll find 9 more reasons in this post.
