I’m a graphic designer and photographer hailing from Sioux Falls, SD, but I have been a Wisconsin resident for over 25 years. Being fairly new to living on the west side of Madison, I’ve really enjoyed finding great coffee shops and exploring all of the parks!
After a two-year stint as a scholarship athlete playing basketball at Northern Michigan University, I transferred and finished my first degree at UW-Whitewater, studying health, human performance and recreation. This led me to work at six different camps in seven years throughout Wisconsin and Michigan, teaching outdoor education and team building/challenge course activities.
I decided to pursue a second bachelor’s degree, this time in graphic design, and have been growing in this area ever since. My graphic design experience spans the retail, music, and entertainment industries with strengths ranging from print, digital, and web to logo, social media, and apparel design.
Concert photography has always been a passion of mine, so I annually volunteer my time and talent at Lifest, with the last seven years in a leadership role for the photo and video team. My images can be seen in promotional materials and on the web. Other areas of photography interest include real estate, newborn, senior and family portraits, sports, wedding, and landscape.
When not in work mode, I stay active by rock climbing at Devil’s Lake, working out at the gym, playing and watching sports, trying new restaurants, attending concerts, and going camping.
