Real Estate in Stoughton

Walking the historic neighborhoods offers a great way to learn about the amazing variety of real estate in Stoughton. A stroll through the east side, northwest side, southwest side, Depot Hill, and Main Street historic districts is like a walk through time, harkening back to the days when architectural character, quality, and craftsmanship were the norm.

Stoughton offers dozens of historic buildings and landmark homes, with classic architecture in Victorian, Arts and Crafts bungalow, Queen Ann Style, Italianate, and American Foursquare themes. If you prefer architectural details such as French and pocket doors, 10-foot ceilings, oversized porches, inlaid woodwork, beveled glass, china hutches, an old style butler’s pantry, or thick oak hardwood trim and flooring, the houses in the city’s center are a must-see. Another benefit of Stoughton’s architecture is the price. Homes in the historic districts are highly affordable, offering prospective buyers a strong value proposition.

Stoughton also features a wide selection of more modern real estate, with many newer construction homes built in the 1990s and early 2000s. In addition to other neighborhoods, the Hill Olson, Hillcrest, Kegonsa Ridge, Norse View Heights, and Virgin Lake subdivisions offer a good selection of affordable homes with more modern designs. Prices in these neighborhoods start at around $200,000.

Condos are plentiful in Stoughton, too. The Castle, Cedarbrook, Kensington Square, McComb Place, and South School condominiums are all highly affordable, with most units selling for below $150,000.
