Most of the homes in Sauk Creek neighborhood were built in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Although you'll find a few ranch style houses in the subdivision, most of the properties in the area feature a two-story design. One popular feature of the neighborhood is the abundance of parks and green space. Haen Family Park, Sauk Creek Park, and Walnut Grove Park are only a short walk away from any neighborhood home. Another popular local destination is the High Point Pool, located at 901 N. High Point Road. Yet another strong selling point of the neighborhood is the close proximity to the public library. Alicia Ashman Library is located right across the street at 733 N. High Point Road.

It's easy to "get local" in Sauk Creek. In addition to the public library, Sauk Point Square shopping center is home to a nice collection of locally-run businesses and restaurants. Other, larger shopping venues are located near the neighborhood. Both West Towne Mall and Greenway Station are minutes away by car.

Depending on location, the households here are zoned to either Crestwood Elementary School or John Muir Elementary. All neighborhood homes are zoned to Jefferson Middle School and Memorial High School.

The Sauk Creek neighborhood offers excellent access to four great outdoor destinations. Sauk Creek Park features a playground, basketball court, soccer field, and over 4 acres of green space at 402 N. Highpoint Road.

Haen Family Park, located on the corner of High Point Road and Tree Lane, offers a playground, volleyball, basketball, and picnic facilities.
