The holiday weekend is here, and if you're still finishing your shopping, several Madison area businesses have great options to please everyone on your list!

For the foodie:

REAP Food Group is offering their annual "Taste of Wisconsin" store through today.  Visit their office on 306 East Wilson Street, and take advantage of all kinds of locally grown treats. Create your own gift basket, and take pride, knowing that you're supporting sustainable, local agriculture. The gift recipient will love the delicious assortment of foods like granola, pickles, beets, sunflower oil, popcorn and more! Pair it all with a Love Wisconsin coffee table book, and your gift is sure to please. 

REAP Food Group is a non-profit in Madison, dedicated to growing good food, in a sustainable way, and then making it accessible to all. REAP connects producers, consumers, small businesses and other organizations to make a healthful, just and sustainable food system locally.

For the sweet tooth:

Madison Chocolate Company is an independent, woman-owned chocolate shop and cafe located at 729 Glenway Street (just off Monroe Street). The shop offers a mouthwatering assortment of beautiful, hand-crafted chocolates, and other treats. Order your friends and family an assortment of chocolates and they will thank you. You can peruse their menu (and order) online, or stop in for a custom assortment.

If you time it right, you can place your order AND enjoy their homemade, gluten free breakfast on Saturday morning. The shop also offers a delightful coffee bar, with a unique list of drinks that complement their menu perfectly. The cafe portion is small, but charming. It's definitely worth a stop!

For a personalized touch:

Monona Terrace's gift shop offers a unique collection of gifts including artwork, stationery, garden decor and more. As Monona Terrace was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, you can expect lots of items to reflect his style. Find stained glass, night lights, and even apparel that show his artistic talents. Toys for children prepare them to be the next great architect. You will also enjoy their large selection of Madison and Wisconsin-themed merchandise. There is something for all ages here! 

As an added bonus, Monona Terrace hosts the Dane County Farmer's Market on Saturday. Stop in and you'll be able to select fresh food gifts, in addition to the beautiful options within the gift shop.
