"I've always loved Madison. The more places I've been, the more I love this city. It has the amenities of a big city, but is so easily accessible by car, bike or public transportation. And the parks- they are beautiful- and there are plenty of them to explore and enjoy," he said. Lackner is responsible for the park photography we feature on our website. Lackner began his photography business out of a love for both the work, and the outdoors. An avid bicyclist, he's familiar with area trails and parks. He also knows his way around downtown Madison, and enjoys frequenting area restaurants. Lackner has taken these interests, and melded them into a business that captures his passions, while helping his clients. He does a wide range of work, including corporate photography, capturing images for commercial or marketing purposes, and real estate photography. He prides himself in being personable with clients, and with providing a very quick turnaround after photo shoots. Most photographs are available within 24-48 hours.
The key to successful photography? Lackner says it's two-fold. You need to know how to balance lighting to get the results you're after, and you need to know your equipment well enough to maximize its capabilities. He enjoys his work, and seeks to maintain a variety of photography projects. "Each aspect of photography has its own unique draw and challenges. It never gets boring," he said.
